The Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council (GWNC) is holding a Town Hall meeting to discuss traffic issues on Highland Ave. and possible mitigation measures. The Town Hall will feature a panel with John Darnell (Council District 5), Nikki Ezhari (Council District 4), Jeannie Shen (Los Angeles Department of Transportation), and Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division
Councilman David Ryu will open the meeting with Q&A from 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

7 Brookside residents are vying for 5 seats on the Brookside Homeowners Association board. Only those residents who have pre-registered and are over 18 years old may vote. There is a limit of two voters per residence; renters are ineligible. Jane Gilman, former owner and publisher of the Larchmont Chronicle, will act as an impartial observer and oversee the ballot counting process.

There is a Brookside HOA Candidate Forum scheduled for Monday, September 12 from 6:30pm – 7:45pm at Memorial Library. This is an opportunity to meet the candidates, ask them questions, learn why they want to serve on the HOA board and what they hope to accomplish as board members. Jane Gilman, former owner and publisher of the Larchmont Chronicle, will moderate.
This forum is also your last opportunity to register to vote in the HOA election.
